Biography



Neil John Codling was born on 5 December, 1973 in Stratford Upon Avon. He is the youngest in his family of two children, with an older brother called Paul. He attended university at Hull University, and finished with a three year degree in Drama.
Neil is the cousin of Simon Gilbert, the drummer of Suede. He joined Suede as the keyboardist near the end of 1995. His first public appearence with Suede was on 27 January 1996 at the Secret Fan Club gig in Hanover Grand. He also does back up vocals, and writes songs sometimes.
